Many people seeking to learn Spanish overlook radio on their search for instructional materials. The first thing you will need to utilize this method is a satellite radio system in your vehicle, home or on your computer. This will allow you to search hundreds of channels, some of which are in Spanish and some of which are instructional in nature and offer Spanish lessons.

Personally, I would recommend an online approach. By utilizing radio programs and podcasts online you can learn at your own pace, anywhere you want. If you have a laptop with wireless Internet you can take it anywhere. Even if you don't, you can record or download materials from the Internet and burn them to CDs or to your iPod device to listen to at home, in the car, at the gym or anywhere you choose. Of course you might want to use radio in addition to other teaching materials like books and worksheets. By combining listening to Spanish with reading Spanish and writing Spanish, you will learn much faster.
